New Interim Leadership at our Jewel by the Sea
Marjorie Wray, RScP & Leadership Council Chair
We are pleased to announce that we have a signed six-month Letter of Call for Rev. John DePalma to be our Interim Minister. The initial term, for six months, can be adjusted according to our needs. He is here to support and guide us through our transition to a new Senior Minister. Rev. John lives in Seattle and will be flying in each month for about ten days.
He is also available through Zoom, email, phone, etc., throughout his 6-month term.
For his first visit, Rev. John will be in Seal Beach from Friday, Nov. 12, through Monday, Nov. 22. He will be working with various groups and individuals during that week, including attending our Practitioners Quarterly Meeting. He will deliver the Sunday talk on November 14 & 21. This schedule will continue each month until we have a new Senior Minister.
We are having a “meet and greet” after the service on Sunday Nov. 14. A light lunch will be provided. This gathering is an excellent opportunity to welcome Rev. John to our Jewel by the Sea and a chance for us to get to know him. We hope to see you all there.
