Notable for vocals bathing in smoky, sultry undertones one moment and brimming with fire and intensity the next, Connie, a native of Chicago, Illinois, remembers her love of singing as early as age 6. While most of her friends were playing outdoors, she preferred time spent pretending she was a legendary singer. One of her fondest childhood memories is of her parents asking her to sing for relatives and friends that visited their home.
Connie has had the pleasure of performing with extraordinary musicians such as pianist, Tom Ranier, guitarist, Grant Geissman, trumpeter, Gary Grant, saxophonist, Dan Higgins, and the gifted members of the South Coast Chorale. Among her favorite performance venues are the Carpenter Performing Arts Center, Orange County Performing Arts Center, the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Disneyland Hotel, and Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen.
The songstress contributes her love of music and singing to her grandmother whom she says had the voice an angel and a melody forever stirring in her heart.
Connie’s other passion is the rescue, rehabilitation, and humane treatment of animals. She enjoyed several years as pet adoption chair for a no-kill animal rescue organization.
In her free time, she most enjoys sharing time with her family, being bossed around by her adorable dogs, relishing nature and the outdoors, and of course, singing.
